Private tours can be done any day of the year according to your needs. For private tours, we can offer pick-ups in Tirana or from other spots
Payment Options: We accept bank transfers, PayPal and we have a debit terminal/POS available at our Office to accept Debit, VISA, and MasterCard payments (please keep in mind that 4% of the total will be added for the latter option.) We can also accept cash payments where applicable.

Itineraries
Day 1
Tirana – Shkodra – Theth
Our journey towards the Albanian Alps begins at 06:30 am. Our tour guide will come and pick you up at your hotel in Tirana. As we drive along the way towards Northern Albania, you will be amazed by beautiful landscapes; wild fields, rivers, Shkodra Lake, and rugged untouched mountains. From Shkodra we will experience local transport riding at around 7:30 am. As we take the turn from the main road to Theth the area becomes more rural, with fewer cars but more wild nature and amazing landscapes. Due to its favorable position, this area is famous for cultivating medicinal herbs, and if you are lucky to travel in May – June you would be amazed by the pretty and aromatic fields of lavender that make you feel like you are in Provence (France). On the way to the top, we will pass through a steep sneaky hillside reaching up to 1700 meters above sea level at Qafa e Thones. They say this is the spot with the best picture-perfect view of the Albanian Alps. We arrive at our Guesthouse in Theth at around 11:30, some tasty fresh local food will be waiting for us. On all three days of the tours, the lunch break will be around noon. After resting a bit, we visit the old Church and the “Lock-in” Tower (symbol of Theth) and its fascinating story in centuries. Overnight in a guesthouse in Theth.
Day 2
Theth – Blue Eye - Theth
Our hiking tour of Theth continues to the natural wonder of the so-called “Blue Eye of Theth”. The hike lasts 3 to 4 hours one way. The Blue Eye is formed by the erosion of the rocks by the water that descends from the melting snow of the Albanian Alps. You will keep your eyes peeled from the iridescent glow of greens and blues colors of this marvel of nature, inviting you to dive in. Last but not least, if you are brave enough, don’t forget to bring your swimming suits with you as some of us will dare to swim in these cold crystal-clear waters. Overnight in a guesthouse in Theth.
Day 3
Theth – Grunas Waterfall – Theth – Tirana
Waking up with such a magnificent view of the Albanian Alps will make you want to stay longer, however, after breakfast, we will hike from Theth to Grunas Waterfall (about a 1-hour hike). A curtain of white water comes over the grey rocks as if they were being poured from a bucket that never empties. The water tumbles down the hillside in a series of mini-waterfalls. At around midday, we get ready to get back to Tirana. The elaborated zig zags road through the mountainous terrain smoothens down little by little taking us towards Shkodra Lake. Our driver will be waiting for us in Shkodra, taking us back to the modern and dynamic metropolitan capital city of Albania, Tirana. You will return home full of the wonders of Albania, with a new sense of self-excitement to share with those around you.
