Day 1

Tirana- Shkodra-Thethi

Meet with our tour guide will come and pick you up at your hotel in Tirana. As we drive along the way towards Northern Albania, you will be amazed by beautiful landscapes; wild fields, rivers, Shkodra Lake, and rugged untouched mountains. As we take the turn from the main road to Theth the area becomes more rural, with fewer cars but more wild nature and amazing landscapes. Due to its favorable position, this area is famous for cultivating medicinal herbs, and if you are lucky to travel in June you would be amazed by the pretty and aromatic fields of lavender that make you feel like you are in Provence (France). On the way to the top, we will pass through a steep sneaky hillside reaching up to 1700 meters above sea level at Qafa e Thores. They say this is the spot with the best picture-perfect view of the Albanian Alps. We arrive at our Guesthouse in Theth . Afternoon we will hike from Theth to Grunas Waterfall (about a 1-hour hike). A curtain of white water comes over the grey rocks as if they were being poured from a bucket that never empties. The water tumbles down the hillside in a series of mini-waterfalls. Overnight in a guesthouse in Theth.

Day 2

Thethi visit Theth and the Albanian Alps

After breakfast start the hiking tour of Theth continues to the natural wonder of the so-called “Blue Eye of Theth”. The hike lasts 3 to 4 hours one way. The Blue Eye is formed by the erosion of the rocks by the water that descends from the melting snow of the Albanian Alps. You will keep your eyes peeled from the iridescent glow of greens and blues colors of this marvel of nature, inviting you to dive in. Last but not least, if you are brave enough, don’t forget to bring your swimming suits with you as some of us will dare to swim in these cold crystal-clear waters. Overnight in a guesthouse in Theth.

Day 3

Thethi- Shkodra

After breakfast, we get ready to get back to Shkodra. drive for about 2 hour 30 minutes The elaborated zig zags road through the mountainous terrain smoothens down little by little taking us towards Shkodra Lake. Arrive in Shkodra the most important town in the North of Albania. Shkodra was the capital of an important Illyrian Kingdom in the 3rd century BC, with its center where the Rozafa fortress is situated today upon entry into the modern city. Shkodra was also the center of the Roman Catholic minority in Albania due to its traditional centuries-old ties with Venice. Italian architecture is present also in the buildings of the beginning of the 20th century. We will take a walk in the newly renovated pedestrian area of Italian and Austrian architecture influences, testimony to this town's historic links with both these countries. Overnight in Shkodra. Hotel 4* Central
