Itinerary

Pick up from your accommodation at 8:00 AM, from where you depart for Bovilla Lake. The road is about 21 kilometers long, with half of it being off-road. Along the way, enjoy views of the suburban neighborhoods of Tirana, taking in a very different lifestyle from that of the city. Drive up to the lake's dam, before preparing to hike in Gamti Mountain. Your hiking track is of a simple level, with each step providing you with a more beautiful view than the last as you ascend to the top. Your hike lasts about 40 minutes, and on top of the hill, you can enjoy the impressive views of the lake and the green hills that surround it. Whilst there, take some time to rest, enjoy the gorgeous view, and talk and eat food under the shadows of the cave. Following your break, return down via the same track. Once done hiking, make a short stop at the river below the dam, which is home to unique canyons. You can also choose to refresh yourself with a swim in the freshwater of the river. The drive to Shengjergj is about a 47 km 2-hour drive. The first stop will be at the waterfall of Shengjergji. To go there we need to hike for 15 minutes. This nature’s little miracle was hidden among mountains for a long time and only the nearby residents and villagers knew its existence. The rock formation around the Waterfall is very interesting with different color layers, red color is dominant. It is time to go to the village of Shengjergj where we are going to enjoy the rural atmosphere. After the visit to the lake, it is time to try some local food. Back to Tirana
