Itineraries

Day 1

Tirane - Berat

Meet our representative and the hotel and drive to Berat, one of the oldest cities in Albania, part of UNESCO. Visit Berat Castle, one of the oldest and largest castles in Albania that is still inhabited. Stroll the narrow paths of the castle and visit interesting monuments such as the Acropolis, the Church of the Holy Trinity, and the Onufri Museum - one of the most interesting iconographic museums in Albania. Overnight at Hotel Portik or Colombo

Day 2

Berat - Apolloni - Gjirokaster

After breakfast departure for Apollonia, one of the oldest archaeological sites in Albania founded in the seventh century BC. Guided tour of the ruins of Apollonia and the Archaeological Museum. Next, the journey will continue to Gjirokaster, another UNESCO site recognized in Albania as the stone city restaurant where they serve traditional food and after that check-in Hotel We will proceed with a visit to Gjirokastra castle and the weapons museum located inside the Castle. Visit the ethnographic museum (the home of the Albanian communist dictator Enver Hoxha). Visit Skenduli house and if we do not feel tired we will also visit the house of Ismail Kadare, an Albanian writer nominated for a Nobel Prize. Free evening to enjoy the atmosphere of the old Bazaar. Day 3

Gjirokaster - Blue Eye - Butrint - Sarande

After breakfast departure for Sarande with a stop at the Blue Eye National Park. Stop for a coffee or a drink and then continue to Butrint, one of the most interesting historical, natural and archaeological sites of Albania. Guided tour of Butrint, a UNESCO heritage site and one of the most interesting natural and natural archaeological destinations in Albania. Continue visiting Ksamil, a coastal village famous for its small islands. Lunch in front of the islands. Drive to Saranda. Overnight Hotel 4 *

Day 4

Saranda - Borsh - Qeparo

After Breakfast, we will drive through the Albanian coast one of the most spectacular routes in Albania. We will visit the old Qeparo. The village is built into a cliff 300m above sea level. Stroll the narrow paths of Qeparo and admire the ancient houses of the 17th century. Free time at your leisure. Overnight in Qeparo a small coastal village. Hotel Resort Valta

Day 5

Qeparo - Llogara - Vlora - Tirane

After breakfast. Continue the drive through Albanian Riviera on the way a visit to the Castle of Porto Palermo and a stop at the Llogara Pass 1100 m above sea level Lunch in Vlora - one of the largest coastal cities in Albania known as the Albanian patriots of the City of Independence declared the independence of Albania in 1912 from Vlora. We will start driving in the direction of Tirane. With a stop along the way if you want to have a drink or a coffee. We will continue to Tirana begin a tour of the city. We visit Skanderbeg Square, dedicated to Albania’s national hero, and the Mosque of Ethem Bey, one of the oldest buildings in Tirana. We then visit Bunk Art 2 – an old atomic bunker, now a museum representing the days of the communist regime in the country. Overnight Hotel Boutique 4*

Tirana – Departure
